About
Hi. I work on backend systems and spend more time than I would like in terminals on remote machines. This site is my notebook: short, practical write-ups of things I set up, broke, or had to debug.
Topics tend to be:
- Linux administration on small VPS instances
- HTTP, TLS and how traffic actually moves between machines
- Self-hosting with as few moving parts as possible
Everything here is written for my future self first. If it helps you too, great. Code snippets are tested at the time of writing, but software changes — check the docs for the version you run.
